About the Chapter

We are a group of volunteer advocates working on #insulin4all action in India to raise awareness about the insulin price crisis and improve the lives of people with diabetes in our country.

We are supported by T1International, a UK-registered Charity that advocates for and with everyone with type 1 diabetes around the world.

Khushi Ahuja

Khushi is a co-Chapter Leader of India #insulin4all. She is a law student, dancer, and writer, born and brought up in Delhi, India. She was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at the age of 11 along with Polycystic Ovarian Disease and chronic depression, which gave me a purpose to work for the community. She believes in advocacy for the rights of people with diabetes, having worked with members of parliament to amend the disabilities act to include diabetes.

Pramita Jasuja

Pramita Jasuja is a co-Chapter Leader of India #insulin4all. She is a diabetes advocate based in India, living with diabetes for almost 11 years now, having been involved with various human rights groups. Her commitment to the cause of #insulin4all stems from the recognition that health is the cornerstone of human well-being, and a lack of access to this life-saving insulin can have far-reaching consequences not only on individuals, but families and communities.
