T1International team members and other advocates for affordable insulin participate in a campaign outside the Eli Lilly headquarters, where much of the US insulin supply is made, in Indianapolis, IN on Monday, October 24, 2022. T1I, is a non-profit advocacy organization founded by Elizabeth Pfiester who has had Type 1 diabetes since she was a child. Pfiester and her team, people with and impacted by type 1 diabetes, are working to achieve affordable insulin prices for all, no matter where a patient lives. © Photo by Erin Lubin

What We Do

Building power for insulin access worldwide.

At T1International, we work to ensure that everyone with diabetes has dignity and that no one has to rely on unpredictable and unstable donations of insulin or diabetes supplies.

Our Campaigns

We uncover the truth about the diabetes crisis by collecting and amplifying the real experiences of people affected by high costs, systemic neglect and corporate greed

We imagine and work to build new systems and structures where access to essential medicines like insulin are human rights and where everyone can access the care, medicines, and supplies they need.

We advocate for improving laws, policies and institutions that make diabetes care affordable.

We tackle the root cause of inequity in diabetes care by holding corporations and the government accountable for their greed and policies that endanger lives.
